The ongoing three-day International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav in London, concluded on August 11 with a grand Shobha Yatra. On the last day, Shobha Yatra was carried out from Ram Mandir South Pole London.

  • Chandigarh, August 12- The ongoing three-day International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav in London, concluded on August 11 with a grand Shobha Yatra. On the last day, Shobha Yatra was carried out from Ram Mandir South Pole London. The representative of Haryana Government and Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr Vipul Goel inaugurated the Shobha Yatra which was participated by a large number of residents of Indian origin as well as of British origin and dignitaries from many countries around the world.
  • In this Yatra, the Minister, Mr Goel paid obeisance to the religious scripture, Shrimad Bhagwad Gita and said that this is a scripture which would propagate the message of world peace and establish world peace. A large number of people gathered on streets to paid their respect to the holy scripture during the Shobha Yatra. 
  • The Yatra was also attended by Swami Sharananand ji Maharaj, Swami Gyananand Maharaj and Swami Parmanand ji Maharaj. In order to make this grand organization of International Gita Mahotsav a memorable one, the representative of Haryana Governor, Mr Satyadeo Narain Arya, his Secretary, Mr Vijay Dahiya, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr Rajesh Khullar, Officer on Special Duty, Mr Amerinder Singh, Mayor of Karnal, Mrs Renu Bala Gupta, other senior officers and former Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Vinod Bhayana also gave their full support.
