The farmers in Haryana are not required to get copy of farad or mutation from the Patwari to sell their produce of paddy and bajra in state mandies.

  • Chandigarh, October 11: The farmers in Haryana are not required to get copy of farad or mutation from the Patwari to sell their produce of paddy and bajra in state mandies. They can sell their produce in the mandis of the State on the basis of information registered on the ‘Meri Fasal Meral Byora Portal’. The farmers have to bring their registered mobile number along with them. They are not required to get copy of farad or mutation from the Patwari. 
  • While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that for proper procurement of produce in the mandis during the ongoing kharif marketing season and to hear the grievances of farmers, senior IAS officers have been deputed for carrying out inspection of mandis.
  • He said that for the procurement of Bajra in mandis of Mahendergarh district, Additional Chief Secretary Housing Mr Dhanpat Singh (Office Telephone number 0172-2713788) has been deputed. Similarly, Additional Chief Secretary Industries Mr Devender Singh (Office Telephone number 0172-2740009) has been deputed for the procurement of Bajra in mandis of Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts, Additional Chief Secretary Printing and Stationary Mr V.S Kundu (Office Telephone number 0172-2711952) for district Rewari, Principal Secretary Development and Panchayats Mr Sudhir Rajpal (Office Telephone number 0172-2741247)  for district Jhajjar and Principal Secretary School Education Dr Mahavir Singh (Office Telephone number 0172-2711754) for district Mewat.
  • The spokesman said that similarly, for the procurement of Paddy in mandis of district Yamunanagar, Additional Chief Secretary Excise and Taxation Mr Sanjeev Kaushal (Office Telephone number 0172-2740751) has been deputed. Likewise, Additional Chief Secretary Mines and Geology Mr P.K Das (Office Telephone number 0172-2740884) has been deputed for procurement of Paddy in mandis of district Kaithal, Additional Chief Secretary Public Works (Building and Roads)  Mr Alok Nigam (Office Telephone number 0172-2711658) for district Kurukshetra, Principal Secretary Irrigation Mr Anurag Rastogi (Office Telephone number 0172-2704453) for district Karnal, Director General of Police (Crime) Mr P.K Agarwal (Office Telephone number 01733-253259) for district Fatehabad  and Director General of Police (Vigilance Bureau) Mr K.P Singh (Office Telephone number 0171-2970218-219) for district Ambala.
  • He said that for the procurement of Paddy in mandis of districts Faridabad and Palwal, Commissioner Faridabad Division Mrs G. Anupama (Office Telephone number 0129-2220410) has been deputed. Similarly, Commissioner Gurugram Division Mr Ashok Sangwan (Office Telephone number 0124-2324033)  has been deputed for district Gurugram, Commissioner Hisar Division  Mr Vinay Singh (Office Telephone number 01662-233267) for districts Hisar, Jind and Sirsa, Commissioner, Karnal Division Mr Vineet Garg (Office Telephone number 0184-2267999) for districts Panipat and Sonepat  and Commissioner Rohtak Division  Mr Pankaj Yadav  (Office Telephone number 01262-255253) for districts Rohtak and Jhajjar.
  • He said that 89211 metric tonnes of Bajra and 26.05 lakh metric tones of Paddy have so far been arrived in the mandis of the State. He said that procurement of Bajra is being done by the procurement agencies at the rate of Rs 2000 per quintal and of paddy at the rate of Rs 1817 per quintal and Rs 1835 per quintal on the basis of variety of paddy.
