Project Director, Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates Programme, Dr. Rakesh Gupta has directed the officers to ensure the timely redressal of every complaint received on CM Window portal and Social Media Grievance Tracker(SMGT). 

  • Chandigarh November 28: Project Director, Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates Programme, Dr. Rakesh Gupta has directed the officers to ensure the timely redressal of every complaint received on CM Window portal and Social Media Grievance Tracker(SMGT). 
  • He said Chief Minister has directed that every single complaint received on the CM Window portal and SMGT should be taken seriously and prompt action should be taken on every complaint.
  • Dr Rakesh Gupta was presiding over the meeting of Nodal Officers of various departments regarding CM Window here today. He said that Chief Minister has directed to take stern action especially in the corruption cases. He said that officers should give priority to pending complaints on CM Window and Nodal officers must review the complaints twice a day.      
  • Dr Gupta directed the Nodal Officers of Development and Panchayat Department, Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Excise and Taxation, Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) to remain present along with the action taken report on December 10, 2019.
  •  He said that the next meeting would be held on December 20, 2019 and asked the officers to work with full dedication. He said that in this meeting the work till December 15, 2019 will be monitored minutely. He said that in the year 2019 so far, 1.31 lakh complaints have been received on CM Window  potral, out of which, 95,952 complaints have been disposed off. The work on more than 8,000 complaints is in progress, he added.
  • He also gave a warning to the departments for the decrease in the score of their functioning and said that Nodal Officers having less than 66 per cent score would invite stern action against them. He issued an explanation to the Nodal Officer of Excise and Taxation Department for not attending the meeting. On the complaint of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, he directed to take action against those who are involved in theft of canal water.
  • While listening to the grievances of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Dr Gupta directed the nodal officer to make the records available to Vigilance with immediate effect.
  • Mr. Gupta directed the Panchayat and Development Department to file a FIR against the erstwhile Block Development and Panchayat Officer Arvind Malik and also issued directions to file a charge sheet against Gram Sachiv Sanjay under rule 7. In this case, the Block Development and Panchayat Officer and Village Secretary were found guilty of Rs 7 lakh 92 thousand 465 in the purchase of dustbin.
  • In the other case of embezzlement of Panchayat and Development Department, he directed to register an FIR against the present sarpanch of the Assan Khurd village of Madlauda and asked the Additional Chief Secretary to fix the responsibility of the employee who had held the case file for two consecutive years.
  • Taking cognizance of the promotion of the Chief Fire Officer, Panchkula, Mr. Gupta directed the Additional Director, Urban Local Body to investigate the matter. He has summoned the Deputy Commissioner of Fatehabad on the complaint against Naib Tehsildar Fatehabad. Similarly, in the matter of issuing the disabled certificate, the Director of PGI Rohtak was appointed as an investigating officer and asked him to submit a report within 15 days. He directed the Kurukshetra Superintendent of Police to take action against the District Registrar Yogesh Taneja and General Manager Ashok Verma for not giving the benefit of the lump sum scheme. Mr. Gupta further directed to give recommendation certification to the New and Renewable Energy Department, Employment and Health Department on better disposal of complaints received on CM Windows.
