  • Chandigarh, Dec 4 – In view of the speedy implementation of various schemes of the State Government, the Haryana Government has decided that meetings of secretaries would be held twice in every month to review and take decisions regarding land requirements of different departments received on e-Bhoomi Portal. Apart from this, the meeting of committee constituted of Ministers for this purpose would also be held every month.
  • A decision to this effect has been taken in review meeting of e-Bhoomi Portal held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, here today.
  • It was informed in the meeting that the meetings of committee of Secretaries would be held on first and third Monday of each month so that the land requirement for various development works would be fulfilled at the earliest so as to initiate the development works immediately.
  • The Chief Minister directed the officers to amend the policy and add new features so that there would be no delay in completion of any project. He also directed the officers to add different features to e-Bhoomi Portal so as to update the portal.
  • It was informed that various departments have so far uploaded 166 indents of 3847.30 acres of land requirement including the maximum 87 indents by Public Works (Building and Roads) Department for 1064.3 acres of land followed by 49 indents of the Irrigation Department for 295 acres of land and five idents each of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran and Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation for land requirement of 291 acres and 1212.2 acres respectively. Apart from this, the Prisons Department has uploaded four indents of 214 acres of land requirement, three indents of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board for 240 acres, three indents of Public Health Engineering Department for 11.8 acres, one indent of Tourism Department for 15 acres, one indent of Higher Education Department for 10 acres, one indent of Warehousing Corporation for five acres, one indent of Medical Education and Research Department for 27.8 acres, one indent of Revenue and Disaster Management Department for 62.7 acres, one indent of Civil Aviation Department for 280 acres, one indent of Urban Local Bodies Department for 100 acres, one indent of Sports and Youth Affairs Department for 6.5 acres, one indent of Irrigation and Water Resource Department for 10.9 acres and one indent of Power Department for 0.2 acres of land.
  •         It was also informed that the Departments which have uploaded indents on e-Bhoomi Portal for land requirement, land has been offered to Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, Irrigation, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, Prisons Department, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board Public Health Engineering Department, Tourism Department, Higher Education Department Warehousing Corporation  and Medical Education and Research Department. The Chief Minister was informed that three aggregators have been empanelled on e-Bhoomi Portal from district Fatehabad, two from district Jind, one each from districts Karnal and Kurukshetra, 13 from district Panchkula, one from district Rewari and seven from district Sirsa.
  • Others present in the meeting included Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. Rajesh Khullar, Additional Principal Secretary, Mr. V. Umashankar, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Mrs. Keshni Anand Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, Mr. Alok Nigam, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Mr. S.S. Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, Mr. T.C. Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Mr. Devender Singh, Principal Secretary, Electronics and Information Technology Department, Mr. Ankur Gupta, Managing Director, HARTRON, Mr. Vijayendra Kumar,  Director General of Police (Jails), Mr. K. Selvaraj and other senior officers.
