Haryana Governor, Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya has been honoured with honorary degree of Ph.D. by Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan in a function organised on the occasion of World Hindi Day at Patna, today

  • Chandigarh, Jan 10 – Haryana Governor, Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya has been honoured with honorary degree of Ph.D. by Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan in a function organised on the occasion of World Hindi Day at Patna, today. The degree has been conferred upon Mr. Arya for his contribution towards development of Hindi and Sanskrit languages in Bihar.
  • Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya remained MLA for eight times from Rajgir Assembly Constituency of district Nalanda. Apart from this, he was appointed to the post of Cabinet Minister twice. He started his political career by contesting 1972 elections from Rajgir. During his political career, he had worked for the rural development, education and uplift of poor in Rajgir as well as in entire Bihar state.
  • After receiving the honorary degree of P.hD., the Haryana Governor expressed gratitude towards the Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan constituted by the first President of independent India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad and congratulated all litterateurs of the country on the occasion of World Hindi Day.
  • Those present on the occasion included Acharya Shri Sudarshan Ji Maharaj, President, Bihar Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Dr. Anil Sulabh, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Mr. Nelan Prakash Topno, Chairman, Bihar Vidyapeeth, Mr. Vijoy Prakash and other dignitaries.
